We couldn’t agree more. Billions of dollars can be saved by collaborating to more efficiently utilize inventory and manage distribution across health systems, IDNs, ACOs, and GPOs. Billions more can be saved by collaborating to buy and sell overstock with facilities across the country.
Any solution that allows collaboration must also provide analytics to improve data-driven decisions, built-in DSCSA track-and-trace to meet regulations, and a streamlined process to move assets within or outside the health system.
